Warehouse Load Beams
Building strong, sturdy vertical shelving is easy with our pallet support bars, which simply need to be connected between a set of uprights. Capacity for each load beam pair is between 3,500 and 7,000 pounds, depending on beam height/length and load distribution. These pallet racking loading beams are made from high-tensile, 14-gauge steel, and each features fail-safe clips built in to prevent accidental detachment. These are industrial load-bearing beams meant to handle the heaviest loads. They come in lengths of 96”, 108”, 120” and 144” and in heights of 3.5”, 4”, 5” and 6”. Two beams are needed for each shelf, and each size is priced the same.
The combination of load beams and appropriate uprights form the most popular, commonly used shelf configuration in warehousing. They offer great versatility in storing products on pallets, providing easy, direct access to each individual pallet, greatly simplifying management of your stock.
